Yes, TOMORROW, March 5th! Join us here at the shop as we welcome our friend Jimmy Shaffer of Nat Sherman for an exclusive cut & light event. From 4 to 8 PM, Jimmy will be offering samples on an array of Nat Sherman cigars – and we’ll be offering some amazing discounts on them as well! Come down, light up, and stock up for springtime (which is just around the corner, and don’t let the crummy weather fool you)!

Then, next Tuesday, March 10th, come back and enjoy more amazing discounts…this time on the fine wares of our old friend Erik Espinosa, who will be here for the “soft open” of the ASW Espinosa Lounge! There are only three such lounges in the country – we will be the fourth – and this entitles us to carry exclusive cigars such as the new Alibi, the first release in Espinosa’s newBackroom Series, a line of lounge-only cigars which will see a new addition every year. The official “hard open” will take place later this spring, but come down and join us in celebrating our admission into this exclusive fraternity!

Then, on Thursday, March 19th (the LAST DAY of Winter!), we’ll be hosting another very exclusive event: An official Ashton VSG Tasting! This is aticketed event, and tickets are available now at the shop for $10 each. Full details will be disclosed in next week’s newsletter, and it’s going to be a doozie…so get your ticket while you can, because they won’t last long!

New from Dion Giolito and the Illusione crowd comes this stellar new limitado: The ~eccj~ 20th, a throwback to the original 2008 ~eccj~ (which stands forEuropean Cigar Cult Journal, the magazine now known simply as Cigar Journal), the cigar which formed the foundation of Illusione’s entire Epernay line. This release – a tribute to the 20th anniversary of the magazine’s publication – is a Nicaraguan puro with a Cafe Rosado wrapper and an intriguing combination of tobaccos including Criollo ’98 and Corojo ’99. The flavor is out of this world: a creamy, nutty blend with elements of cinnamon, cedar, and pepper intertwined with a honey-like sweetness that some have compared to champagne.

Available in one size only, a 6½” x 48 parejo. We’ve got some on hand, so stop by and join the cult while the books are open!
