Rocky Patel’s new Prohibition line features a flavorful blend of Nicaraguan binders and filler with a choice of oily Connecticut Maduro or toothy San Andrés wrappers. The Broadleaf produces a rich, peppery smoke with hints of wood, leather, and barnyard (it’s a good thing); the Mexican is a bit creamier, with notes of chocolate, roasted nut, and a touch more sweetness than its counterpart. Either one is a suitable smoke for a relaxing spring evening, and the Mexican is especially pleasant with a glass of your favorite scotch at hand. Stock up while you can!
