New from the world-class blenders at Dunhill is the Heritage series, a much more full-bodied cigar than any of their recent offerings (and produced in Honduras, the first Dunhill to be manufactured there in 17 years). A tribute to the Cuban-made cigars of Dunhill’s past, the Heritage features a heady blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers  (Ometepe ’07, Jamastran ’05, and Esteli ’12), a binder of hearty viso from the Jalapa Valley in Nicaragua, and a wrapper of glossy Ecuadorian Habano for an extra burst of flavor and strength. The Heritage boasts a rich, nutty base note laden with elements of cinnamon, pepper, and cocoa; some sweetness creeps in during the final third, which is more noticeable in the Churchill size. Definitely an after-supper smoke, and a very fine one at that. Check it out at this week’s insanely low price!
