CAO’s recent Flathead series of box-pressed cigars has been extremely popular, particularly the robusto (called the “Camshaft” – all the cigars in this line are named after car parts). A hearty blend of broadleaf, Ecuadorian binder, and Nicaraguan fillers gives this cigar a robust bass note of earthy chocolate with elements of spice (cinnamon, perhaps a touch of clove) and a pleasing sweetness reminiscent of coffee with caramel.
