Look no further: the Rosado Sungrown Magnum is an excellent smoke that exceeds one’s expectations on both fronts (especially at this week’s price!). Fuente’s usual fine blend of Dominican fillers and binder is in this case enhanced by an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper which has been aged for 8 years. The result is an extremely flavorful leaf which combines both sungrown strength (thanks to the rich volcanic soil of Ecuador) and the creamy, mellow sweetness characteristic of Sumatran seed. A rich, complex cigar, it’s a fantastic stick for the end of a busy day! |
