This week’s pick is yet another newly released cigar, this time from Alec Bradley: the Nica Puro Rosado, a variation on the original Nica Puro which features a spicy wrapper of Nicaraguan Colorado Rosado. (“Rosado” is a term used to describe a wrapper with a reddish tinge; “Colorado rosado” refers to a slightly darker leaf.) Like last week’s C.O.W., this cigar is also double-bound, and the fillers are excellent Nicaraguan leaves from three regions. The resulting cigar is a pleasant, medium-strength smoke with nutty & leathery characteristics and a hint of citrus. A fine cigar to enjoy any time of the day, Especially at this week’s reduced price!
(NOTE: This cigar is available in FIVE other sizes – Churchill (7″ x 50), Torpedo (6¼” x 54), Gordo (6¼” x 60), Robusto (5″ x 50), and Bajito (4¼” x 52) – and we’ve got them all…so if a toro doesn’t do it for you, try one of the others!)
