TOMORROW: We are proud to welcome Isaias Santana Diaz, president and founder of Pure Aroma Cigars. Santana was born in Havana in 1973; having become enamored of cigars at an early age, he emigrated to the US in 1995 and began producing an assortment of excellent cigars under the appellation Flor de D’Crossier. The name is a tribute to his great-grandfather Francisco Crossier, a vintner who left France for Cuba in the late 19th century and traded his vineyards for tobacco fields.His latest endeavor, the Selection 512 – a stellar combination of Dominican and Costa Rican fillers encased in a binder of Costa Rican Sumatra and a wrapper of delicious Ecuadorian Habano – has quickly become a top-seller in our shop. If you haven’t yet tried one, you’re in for a real treat.
