Wrapper: Dominican Habano Binder: Cuban-seed Filler: Cuban-seed Corojo & Criollo ’98 Villiger has released some fantastic new blends lately – the Cuellar, theCabarete, and the Celebration, to name but a few – and the Trill is no exception. A Dominican puro, the Trill is a rich combination of Cuban-seed fillers and binder within a rosado-tinged Habano wrapper. The resulting smoke is delightful: a peppery start which evolves into a hearty breadlike flavor reminiscent of gingerbread or even banana bread (there’s a lot of sweetness in this one), with just a hint of tart citrus or chalk (not at all unpleasant, as it leavens the base note). A very fine cigar, a great one to pair with a fruity ale or IPA…and a total steal at this week’s price! Come see what the Trill has in store for your refined palate.
