The TSUGE Pipe Raffle!

In case you missed it: ASW is offering an exclusive chance to win a new Drew Estate pipe by Tsuge! Kazuhiro Fukuda (one of the world’s leading pipe crafters and president of Tsuge Pipes) has entered into an arrangement with Drew Estate to offer a new line of contemporary pipes featuring Tsuge’s distinctive styling. Now that the weather is heating up, we want to keep you abreast of what is HOT!Thus, here are last week’s front-runners (excluding old standbys such as ASW,Rocky Edge, or Perdomo Fresco): In 1st place, we have Erik Espinosa’s outstanding La Zona Connecticut; 2nd Place goes to the Nomad 8613 by Fred Rewey’s Nomad Cigar Company; and 3rd Place was a tie between theCurivari Reserva Limitada 2000 and the Azan White by Roberto P. Duran!

La Zona Connecticut is a pleasant, mild cigar reminiscent of the discontinued601 Connecticut Black Label; Nomad 8613 is a little more robust, a medium-bodied smoke featuring an Ecuadorian habano wrapper; the Curivari 2000 is a terrific Nicaraguan puro with a nice bit of peppery body to it; and the Azan Whitecombines Nicaraguan fillers with Brazilian matafina and an Ecuadorian corojo wrapper for a truly flavorful experience.
